@ asdewfces, yeah it was a 19 years old car when i got rid of it Haha. the bottom was entirely rusted out, electric was fucky and blinkers usually didnt work, there was no horn, tires constantly lost air, etc..

^it was to the point where i was always looking for a safe spot for it to break down while driving. the last few years repairs started getting expensive and more frequent, and with harder to find parts.. but i do miss that that old shitbox, it had a v6 engine. my new car just doesnt accelerate with as much power haha

- and i actually traded in my old car for a discount on the bnew one, and later found out that it was in suchad shape, the dealership could only scrap it Lol so yeah, definitely recommend driving a safe vehicle

@ Alan13, That sounds like the old saturn my mom bought back on 2001 and had untill 2021 I think, she basicly drove it to its end. But she loved that car.

lol I’m loving this car talk, I actually have been flipping used cars in my state, not every high mileage older car is a shit-box, but most are. Just gotta do your research and find out what’s good and isn’t. the Lexus LS400 is reportedly a bulletproof old car as an example.

Don’t forget to change your headlight fluid every 420 miles or 6.9 months

you can kinda blame the younger folk for not listening too.

I see both. Sometimes it’s the older folks not offering help when someone is clearly struggling or when asked they say "You should already know this" and refuse to help. But at other times they are offering advice or asking if they need help and the younger ones are brushing them off.
