maybe the problem i’ve been having is fixed... the cubemaps in this one map keep breaking and all reflective sufaces show purple and black squares

Hey can someone remind/relink how to use IK bones?..i’ve completely forget how to make them worse..it zap the hip..then the foot but i get the "theres can only be one knee bone" error

aughterkorse, It’s not what you think it is. It allows any world light to cast those cheap shadows that only cast onto world surfaces.

aughterkorse, For my stories, there is an option of the soft lamp that I love, is to remove the world light, while keeping the model light.

Just a question: how many skins can a model/prop have in SFM/Gmod? Someone uploaded the dildo models from Bad Dragon with rigging onto SmutBase, and it includes almost 30 textures to put on them, so I dunno if they all can be put on each toy...

I think each model can handle around 32 material files, NOT skins, skins can be composed of 1 or more VMTs

if each skin is 1 VMT then the total is 32 skins, but i think the menu index itself just 16

jose_exe, Gmod can handle 31 total textures used on a model. 32 is the limit and won’t compile. i usually use 5 different textures for just the base body’s skin (face, torso, arms, legs, genitals). aaand then plus eyeballs, and then mouth texture, then hair... it really adds up :lol: But if your model only had one vmt file, like it was a simple prop for example, sure it could have 31 different skins

Ah, that’s perfect for the Bad Dragon toy set that I found on Smutbase; it has exactly 31 textures for skins for the toys, and they should be singular skins, so...
