Me and several others got 2 days suspension on Deviantart for talking out against Ai. They try to push their Dreamup bullshit so hard, even making fake Ai accounts lying about how much it sells.

that AI crap just doesn’t do it for me, then again, I’m a total shut-in and I avoid deviant and most of the online art communities, so I never missed out on anything to begin with because I never participated to begin with, but that’s just me, to each his/her own

 I wouldn’t dislike AI as much if it was used as a tool to enhance your artwork. and not just to create a thousand near identical renders with glaring issues that the person didn’t bother to look at and edit.

AI art will probably never die off, but I think it’ll never truly blur the lines between it and handcrafted art. The more I see it, the worse it gets,either it’s incredibly repetitive or it’s actually MORE uncanny than it used to be.

@ Rastifan, Wanna know the worst thing about AI art on Deviantart? The biggest offenders are bot accounts that don’t tag their shitty rips as AI. and Deviantart doesnt’ have metadata detection tools like other sites.

@ Rachel-Krausitzer, We had this dicussion before. I don’t mind if it is a real adulted up model and not just the model face put on an adult body. But the only one we had was adult Ellie before The Last of Us II was released. She looked 18+. Adulting up characters is nothing new.
