@ FeniX-Minerva, they have their accounts back but who ever hacked them put something sketchy in the add ons so steam took down their add ons

@asdewfces I’m aware of the hacking, just not the addons disappearing. Hopefully their addons come back, otherwise might need a backup.

@ FeniX-Minerva, Almost all of my uploads were set as hidden by the Steam admin. Ash had enough and told the Gmod workshop to fuck off. I don’t blame him one bit.

Evil-Ash let me know about his willing to totally disappear from his past work so, before he deleted everything, I managed to get backup of almost all his addons. (40 of 69)

I’m kind of MEGA SUPER busy these days, but if you guys really need a particular addon, I’ll try my best to reupload soon on the workshop (I’m allowed from Ash to do so) or at least just here. See you later!

@ Sabiothailand, I think MEGA will be the easiest way. And i’ll likely reupload important stuff like some maps on the workshop too.

Bad news. I have no way at downloading my hidden uploads on workshop. They don’t even show up as gma under addons. There is a main file I am told somewhere I can locate on my HD and unpack, but I have no idea where it is. Google didn’t help at all.

The only thing I can think of is "steamapps\workshop\content\4000" but I’m not sure if this is only for subscribed addons. Even if it did it’d be a bitch to try to get without knowing what item code it is. You could theoretically get it from the page but that’s not an option with that entry being deleted.

@ Rastifan, I know that someone re uploaded sandras weapons and another one of your add ons back to the workshop but didn’t know about the issue with them, I let them know about it and he said he’d look into the lua files. However any help with that would be greatly appreciated. I think maybe the new add on might be from before the hack but I don’t know

Sent the Steam admin a post. I should perhaps have been more polite. But first I get my Steam account hacked. That is on Steam. Then I lose all my workshop uploads. I am not a happy camper.

While anger is 100% justified I’d probably still try to be polite if only for the reason that it’s the difference between "Oh yes we’ll help you" vs "Oh, well we can’t actually find this" while actually being fully able to help and seeing the solution right in front of them.

@ Rastifan, I would suggest getting in touch with the guy to tell him what to look for in the files of the add ons so there isn’t anything in those like the ones that were affected by the hack
