Even if it is from someone you trust. Evil Ash’s account was taken over and they used it to send me a damaging link some tine back. Had to get Steam to restore my account. Verify they sent it before clicking anything.

@ Rastifan, That makes me glad for Discord. I mean that has all its flaws and risks but I won’t be getting Steam messages over Steam, it would just be a Discord DM instead.

I’ve had one friend get their account hijacked because they followed the fake link to a "game they were working on". Trouble was the compromised account actually did do that stuff so the friend went for a trick they otherwise would’ve ignored.

So I’ve been doing some thinking about it lately. DigitalEro, like I mentioned, is for adults only, and was so special for you guys, but not for me. And I should say it’s time for me to move on to other things.

As a result, I’ve made the difficult decision to bid farewell to this platform. It’s not an easy choice, but I think it’s for my personal life.
