@ Undyingbroccoli, I’m playing around with your Queen Marika and noticed her "cracked" textures appear transparent in GIMP, I’m unable to do anything with them. Would you be willing to share the originals by chance?

I don’t have the original textures anymore, I delete them when I am finished since they are taking up too much storage on my harddrive

@ Undyingbroccoli, Sadly I do not get prompts, I export as TGA using VTFEdit and in GIMP, it just opens up. But the skin texture is hidden, I only see the cracks

@ Sabiothailand, nah is it already png, then you shouldnt. But if you want to for example edit the .png texture, I would save it as a .tga

Oh, so when I export an edited TGA in GIMP, the coloration is slightly off. Anyone know why this happens? It’s just barely noticeable, but it’s weird

Probably taken. We "the admin" really don’t like too many numbers in the handle. It cofuses us. It’s a admin thing. We like things clean and orderly. I have to admit I have slammed my hand on the keyboard and called whatever it resulted in for my name.

i’ve been doing some experiments and i must ask: are there pros and cons to using the SFM selection when compiling over the gmod one? like does the SFM option allow slightly more physics bones in the mesh or what? ive been using the gmod selection because long ago i tried using the sfm and the weight painting was as precise as the gmod

oooohhh never mind, i just tried the sfm route now to experiment myself and it wont let me, i hit the 32 material lmit - gmod is the best bet it seems as it allows you past that

Honestly? I think it’s just we’ve moved on with our lives at large. The site was made back in the early 2010’s when Garry’s Mod was still in vogue.

Truthfully, at some point I’d like to pay someone enough money to make an infinite model. Like a female model that has a ton of face and body flexes, skins, and attachable outfits/hairstyles. Basically 1 model that can be repurposed to be hundreds of different characters. A gift to DE.

I had thought something like that could be cool, my initial thought would’ve been to make a new Sandra that has all the new bells and whistles, with many body-grouped outfits. But it could just as easily be another female model. Maybe such an idea could be narrowed down to a thread or polls to discern what most of the people here find hot.
